Orange Is the New Black
Memoirs! Why do I do this to myself? They always sound so good, and when I hear the authors getting interviewed on the radio I'm extra intrigued. This was another disappointment. I love, love the tv show. The characters are great and the writing is superb. The book, however, is a bit lackluster. It seems like a stream of consciousness with no narrative thread holding it all together.Don't waste your time - stick to watching the tv show.
